Queen Elizabeth's School is looking for a Premises Assistant to join our fantastic Premises team. Could this be you?

Actual Salary £25,989 - £ 26,403 per annum Grade 6 SCP 6 - SCP 7

This job is Full time 

It is offered on a Temporary basis until 31 August 2026  

Approximate start date October 2025

We are looking for someone who will undertake duties that include:

  • Security, safety and maintenance of school premises
  • Regular handling of equipment, machinery and school furniture
  • Opening and locking up and inspection of the school is a key responsibility of the role

There is a need to be trained in the provision of basic first aid.

Ideally, we would like to appoint someone who has previous experience of

  • Working in premises and building maintenance
  • Working with a team of colleagues and contractors to complete general property maintenance and repairs
  • Keyholder with overall responsibility for security and fire safety across a school estate
  • A clean driving licence and your own transport is essential for travel across the Trust's multiple sites and schools.

Working days and shifts will be Monday to Saturday on a Rota with other team members and to include the following working patterns - 2.00pm to 10.00pm Weekdays and 8.00am - 6.00pm on Saturday
